Member of the communications team of the University of Innsbruck

Not only is knowledge on Wikipedia freely accessible, but the way in which it is generated is also based on the principle of open access: users can also become authors. The University of Innsbruck supports the idea of open access and encourages researchers to make their results available for open access. As part of an open science communication approach the university also supports Wikipedia as an openly licensed, non-commercial and collaborative form of knowledge generation and is intensifying and expanding its activities in Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects such as Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons.

I am part of the Wikimedia Science Communication Network (WiSciCoN).

This account is mostly used to edit and create articles about and content of academics at the University of Innsbruck, Austria.
And, yes, I am committed to the Notability criteria of Wikipedia. My team also jointly uses the account: Presseteam Uni Innsbruck.
