TripleA is a free (under GPL) turn based strategy game based on Axis & Allies board game. It developed into having many maps [1](World War II, Punic Wars, Napoleonic wars, etc) [2] [3] with a variety of rules, units[4] and many options (such as "low luck" which reduces the number of dices rolled making game depend more on strategy[5]).
TripleA is programed in Java and can run on any platform that supports Java (including Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and Mac OS X.[6]
For Multi-player games, the community maintains two live lobbies : one for each of the most current Stable and Unstable versions[7]. It is easy to find opponents on-line due to the popularity of the game: 10.000 downloads every month. [8] Other options are Play by Mail, play on the network, or choose among three levels of AI[7]
