Oscar Mathebula (also known as Dj Mawewe SA) was born and raised in Limpopo Bolobedu in a small Village called Maekgwe /Mahekgwe. He started doing Music, Comedy and Drama in 2014 and he focused in Bolo House Music. He told Daily sun that doing a music in his Mother tongue is a great way to send message to his Audience. Dj Mawewe SA did a great job by releasing a song that called Mohla Ke Tsamaya in 2015 featuring Dj Mular, Dj Diope, Dj Dicash. The song was nominated in top 5 in the Community radio station that is called Sekgosese (Fm Seco fm). On the 2016 the Song was created as a VodacomSA and MTNSA caller tunes... He didn't give up doing music, they released another hit called Makarapa, Lydia my love, keya Vaya (Dj Mular ft Mawewe) SA the same year 2017.

In Drama he did a great job as a Executive Producer and Actor as Mathata. The name of drama was called The Street of Maekgwe that was released in 2015. He created more than 50 videos clips for comedy. In 2021 he released Hit song called Nka se Khole in Blue moon Studio with Dj Mular and Mular released Hit Ft Dj Mawewe SA called Ntlala.. Dj Mawewe SA and Dj Mular are very very popular and talented
