Tutorial 1 - Week 3
[edit]Activity 1 - From Scratch
Viewing the original CRISPR article I would have considered introducing more information and referencing to more credible sources. There are plentiful scientific papers that utilize CRISPR - this would improve the verifiability of the article and the notability. The page offers a basic definition of what CRISPR is - as opposed to discussing its history and uses in the genomic world. Referencing the article would be highly important in the process. As the second reader I would have introduced more links into the technology that utilises CRISPR such as CRISPR-Cas9. Observing the most recent version of the article, I would also find it necessary to include the mechanisms and organisms that have CRISPR.
Tutorial 2 - Week 4
[edit]
Activity 1 - Citation Hunt
https://tools.wmflabs.org/citationhunt - Add a needed citation through this link (if you can find a reliable source!). Put a link of the changes on your user page.
Addition of citation to the page:
Venice, Los Angeles - added a link to a reliable organisation publication.
For information on what constitutes a reliable source - check here: Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources

Tutorial 4 - Week 6
[edit]In a sentence or two explain if you would prefer a video demonstrating how to format your assessment on your draft page, a live seminar demonstrating this, or a document with the format (and you would work it out) neither, both or all three. Give reasons for your choices.
Remember to send the link of your draft folder to my email if you haven't done so already. Note, you can always email me with nice things to say as well as any questions you have: <a"[[1]]">Send email</a>
- I enjoy the tutorial sessions as I time to ask questions. I personally prefer when the activity is described on canvas through a single page explanation and short video, and using class time to ask questions.
Topic 6 - updating an article:
Chemotherapy - addition of key verifiable literature. Addition of sources will increase notability of the articles.
