Prilepska Gazoza is a carbonated beverage with pear[1] aroma and flavor. Although drinks with a similar or the same name are made in other countries, pear flavored Gazoza is an original product of North Macedonia,[2] whose inhabitants it is popular among.[3]
It is one of the best-selling non-alcoholic carbonated beverages on the Macedonian market, and its distinctive taste is appreciated on foreign markets as well. Gazosa is exported to the surrounding Balkan countries, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Australia and the United States.[4] Gazoza is produced by Prilep Brewery.[5]
