Dhushara, or Dushara is a name of the Lord of Seir, the high god of Genesis of the mountains of Edom and later in Nabatea a from of Dionysus as man-god, whose tragic mask conferred immortality.

Dhushara is also the nickname for Chris King, a researcher in cosmology, chaos and consciousness, who is author of "Biocosmology" and "The Codex of the Tree of Life and co-author of "Sexual Paradox: Complementarity, Reproductive Conflict and Human Emergence" as a book and internet resource. Chris is also the composer and producer of the Niño CD albums of apocalyptic renewal music and co-convenor of Wisdom Earth Democracy, the Genesis Diversity Encyclopedia and co-convenor of the Sakina (sakina.org) and Dhushara (dhushara.com) web sites. The Dhushara nickname reflects the alternative unrecognized aspects of the Bridegroom. He has also produced a video movie "Jihad-Sakina" covering the vigil from the Amazon to Jerusalem in the millennium, the intifada, 9-11 and the War on Terror.
