Daniel Halperin, born in the winter of 1979, was raised in Northbrook, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. He attended Glenbrook North High School and graduated in 1998. Halperin went to Bradley University in Peoria Illinois on a baseball scholarship. Halperin graduated from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta Georgia in 2002. While at Emory, Halperin served as the Chief Technology Officer for his student council.

In 2003, Halperin founded the United Consumer Finance Network (UCFN). UCFN is a marketing company primarily serving the mortgage industry. In 2005, Halperin founded United Consumer Mortgage, which is a mortgage lender based out of Chicago, Illinois and has a branch office in Orlando Florida.

Halperin is a student of the martial arts, studying Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Muay Thai, and Krav Maga. Halperin also plays for the amateur baseball Diablos in the Midwest Suburban Baseball League.

Halperin married Rian Hillary Spencer on September 14th, 2008.
