Ethics - Self Reflection

This topic is about the Normative Ethics such as, Deontology, Utilitarianism and Virtue ethics. Well, based on my learnings these ethics convey interesting ideas on their own individual areas like Deontology is based on the rules that if the action follows the rules, it is ethical and good to perform. Compared to the other ethics it is based on the rules made b the certain organizations or passed down from generations but talking about the negative aspects of it that rules might not be suitable in every situation. Utilitarianism is based on the actions of an individual that is if the consequences good then the action performed is also good. Compared to other ethics utilitarianism is more focused towards the morale of the person but the problem here is that we might know the consequences. And Virtue ethics says, the action is good if it’s what a virtuous person would do. Based on their individual idea this framework is appealing.

Each of these ethics have their own good and bad. I personally do not favor to stick to any of them but rather suggest to the situation you are in and take the decision accordingly.
