Tri Towers

Tri towers also known as west campus is located in Normal, Illinois and is property pertaining to Illinois State University. Tri towers consists of three residence hall which are Wilkins, Haynie, and Wright. Some floors consist of themed floors which can either be ROTC, Wellness, Substance-Free, or Quiet floors. These residence halls tend to house a majority of the athletes on campus because of how close most of their practice facilities are close by. Tri also has three basketball courts and one area where you could play volleyball. Also the Linkens dining center is located in the middle of tri. Tri is approximately a fifteen minute walk from the quad and it is right next to both the Redbird Arena and the Hancock Stadium

Wilkins

Wilkins hall, which was named after Daniel Wilkins, a former principal of the Female School Institute of Bloomington during the 1850s. Wilkins is one of the three residence halls that is in tri towers. It was last renovated on August of 2005. There are 12 floors in this residence halls which includes a lounge in the basement where students can either do homework, play billiards, workout, or just watch TV in the viewing area. If you live in tri you have access to all the two residence halls via the basement, which u could also take in order to get to the dining center. In the basement of Wilkins there is also a laundry area which consists of 9 washers and 8 dryers where students can do their laundry.

Wright

Wright hall, which was named after Simeon Wright, who was one of the founders of Illinois State University. Wright is one of the three residence halls that is in tri towers. It was last renovated on August of 2007. There are 12 floors in this residence halls which includes a in the basement where students can either do homework, play billiards, workout, or just watch TV in the viewing area. If you live in tri you have access to all the two residence halls via the basement, which u could also take in order to get to the dining center. In the basement of Wilkins there is also a laundry area which consists of 8 washers and 9 dryers where students can do their laundry.

Haynie

Haynie hall, which was named after Martha D.L. Haynie, she was the first female Illinois State Normal University professor. Haynie is one of the three residence halls that is in tri towers. It was last renovated on August of 2006. There are 12 floors in this residence halls which includes a in the basement where students can either do homework, play billiards, workout, or just watch TV in the viewing area. If you live in tri you have access to all the two residence halls via the basement, which u could also take in order to get to the dining center. In the basement of Haynie there is also a laundry area which consists of 10 washers and 11 dryers where students can do their laundry
