Deuxdad is a 64 year old male, not yet officially retired alarm system technician although no longer working. I spend my time doing as little as possible except what's necessary to keep the distaff side happy.
I ride an '86 Honda Gold Wing Aspencade whenever I get the chance or, lately with gas prices what they are, whenever I have to run an errand or two.
I never returned to high school to start/complete my senior year and had about two menial jobs before the son of an alarm company owner saw some potential in me. I started working in the alarm field in 1967 and have been in it ever since because I loved it. To paraphrase a wise sage somewhere, "Find a job you love and you'll never work another day in your life". My last position was eight years with ADT which destroyed my desire to remain in the field. Don't ask.
I currently reside in Pelham Alabama(USA) with my significant other(female) and five non-housebroken rescued dogs ranging in size from 6 pounds to 30 pounds. You have to be a dog person to understand.
My Wikipedia contributions page shows that I started contributing in May of 2005 with not a lot of contributions in between. While not exactly a member of the spelling-grammar-punctuation police, I am sometimes compelled to edit a page which offends my sensibilities. It's a curse.
