shopautoweek.com
[edit]Shopautoweek.com is a car shopping and research website that began operation on October 17, 2011.[1] The idea for the site was conceived when Autoweek editors and publishers realized their base of automotive information translated well to a site that could answer one of their most commonly received questions - "What car should I buy?"[2][3] Thus, editorial content from Autoweek is used on the site for car reviews, shopping advice and vehicle research.[4] When it was founded, shopautoweek.com had a few tools that did not exist on other similar sites such as an online notebook allowing users to keep notes and an inspection partnership offering the ability to contact a certified inspector.[2]
The site competes with other automotive shopping sites such as AutoTrader.com, Cars.com, Edmunds.com and Kelley Blue Book.[2][3]
