'ARMORIAL BEARINGS - REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES' new article content ...
The slightly revised Armorial Bearings (also known as the Crest) was adopted in 1996 by an Act of Parliament and assented by the then President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr. France Albert Rene.
The only modification made to the Armorial Bearings was in the band immediately above the helment. The band in the previous crest was divided into 6 parts with alternating blue and white colours. The new crest had the band divided into five parts showing, from left to right, the colours of the new Seychelles flag: blue, yellow, red, white and green.
