As soon as I have time I would like to create an article Germany (region), similar to the Macedonia (region) Greater Mongolia article.
If anybody does not know what I am talking about: I mean the European Region of Germany (which never existed as one single political entity but always belonged to several states).

Germany is a geographical and historical region of Central and Western Europe. Its boundaries have changed considerably over time. Countries entirely inside the region of Germany include Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg and the Netherlands. Countries which partly overlap with the historical region of Germany include Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Poland, Russia (Kaliningrad Oblast), Slovakia (Bratislava), Slovenia and Switzerland.
Further, before the emigrations and expulsions after World War I and II German language islands close to the continuous area of the region of Germany existed within the territories of today’s Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. Additional European language islands further away existed in today’s Belarus, Croatia, Hungary, Latvia, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine.
