Dent Earl is a graduate student in the Bioinformatics program at the University of California Santa Cruz. He holds a Master's degree it Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied the Population Genetics of the Tidewater goby (Eucyclogobius newberryi), and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California Santa Cruz.
