I have been blogging about humanities, cyberculture, writing and journalism on Jerz's Literacy Weblog since 1999. As an associate professor at Seton Hill University, I teach courses on new media, journalism, literature, and writing.
My academic interests include weblogs, interactive fiction, and literary representations of technology.
A few years ago I published "Somewhere Nearby is Colossal Cave: Examining Will Crowther's Original “Adventure” in Code and in Kentucky" (Digital Humanities Quarterly 1.2).
