*Take Heed* Hebrews 2:1 [1]Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.

Take heed to the things you hear. There will always be a time when one answer must be selected from two options *choose wisely*. Everywhere we go there is arguments going on here and there. People saying all kinds of lousy and atrocious things that may put us out of shape and also brings us into a state of discontentment which may affect us physically, mentally, emotionally and also spiritually.

Take heed to what you hear lest you be drift away. Many are unwell be it emotionally abused, disturbed in the mind, broke, angry, in debt, in prison just because they had an encounter with bad companies (They didn't take heed to what they heard). They didn't think of the implications that It will bring to them. They didn't think twice. They just followed not knowing where they will end up. Just because they listen to people they shouldn't have listened to.

Some of the things we should take heed

1. Bad companies: There is an adage that says "Bad Companies Corrupt Good Morals" (1Cor. 15:33). We may be "good" as people may refer as to, but when we encounter bad people we get transformed. It is easy for a bad person to reverse engineer a good person than the vice versa. Some people may say "My friend is bad but that doesn't mean I will be bad" or say "My friend is a thief but that does not make me a thief" but remember in Proverbs 27:17 that says "As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend". We are humans, we can change any time. We are like chameleon, we change to suit the environment we get ourselves in.

2. What You do: Whatever we do here on earth can be bad or good. So let be careful of what ever we do. We will say " this thing is not in the Bible so that doesn't make it a sin". The Bible makes us that Nature can also teach us what we may not know (1 Cor. 11:14, Job 12:7-10, Proverbs 6:6-11). The spirit of God living in us can also teach what is good and what is bad (John 14:36). All we have to do is just open the door for him to come in.

Take Heed of these things that have been mentioned above lest be drift away. Thanks for reading this devotion. God bless you.
