Liberty Academy Youth Orchestra is a volunteer-based community orchestra to provide concert opportunities for area students. The students represent a variety of schools in Hampton Roads, as well as several home-schooled students.

History

Awards

The orchestra won a Grand Sweepstakes Award in June 2012 from Music in the Parks, a day-long or two-day festival for student choral, orchestral, and band ensembles, held annually across the United States. The award was earned at the Hershey Park Festival in May ^[1]
