High Heel Samurai is an online broadcast-quality television series filmed in the Boston area, with a New England cast and music from local bands. The web series was created by Chip Perro and Rick Perro in 2006, who are both experienced Martial Artists, and the story is about four intelligent women who run a fighting competition in Boston. The series was developed to fit the formatting of a conventional one hour television program. Each episode is divided into six acts (or webisodes) and one webisode is uploaded weekly to the High Heel Samurai website at 11:59 PM on Wednesday nights. The series premier was on May 30, 2007, and season one consists of 7 episodes, or 42 webisodes, and season two has 12 episodes, or 72 webisodes. New programming for season two will continue through April 2010.

This locally produced e-show, whose new season launches on 9/3, follows four women who dine together, swap dating advice, and then rumble in an underground-fighting ring in the dark alleys of Boston.
