David Cochrane is a software developer for Cosmic Patterns Software, which is known for the Kepler and Sirius astrology software programs. He makes tutorial videos on astrology and conducts research in the field of cosmic cybernetics, which is a branch of astrology that uses more complex and mathematically based models than are used in astrology. Cosmic cybernetics follows the cautious and critical and scientific approach to astrology and currently uses mostly exploratory research methods. Clear and unambiguous relationships of cosmic events to human and non-human behavior have not yet been discovered.

David is the author of two books and a frequent speaker at international astrology conferences. He has a B.A. degree in psychology and has completed many graduate level courses in research methodology and statistics.
