The submission contains no references whatsoever. (Violation of WP:V) If an AfC has no references I don't even bother to read it. It's an instant decline.
The submission has references but they are not reliable. (Violation of WP:OR and WP:SELFPUB) Your own website, or Facebook or Wikipedia etc. cannot be used as a reference.
Submission is blank, or is a single sentence, or is a greeting. I consider this borderline vandalism as it is just a waste of time, especially when there is such a backlog of submissions. You get one chance to submit a blank. Resubmission of blanks will be considered as disruptive.
The references don't mention the subject. If you include a reference to support a statement, when I read the reference, it actually needs to say it.
The references don't indicate notability. (Violation of WP:GNG) There needs to be a minimum of 3 references that are independent, reliable and have significant coverage of the topic. Interviews will not cut it.
The submission reads like an advertisement. (Violation of WP:PROMO) Submissions need to be free of puffery and written in a neutral fashion. If you have a username which is the same or similar to the subject, the submission will not only be declined, but will also be nominated for deletion and the account will likely be indefinitely blocked.
The submission is a joke or hoax. (Violation of WP:V)
There has been no improvement between submissions. If a submission was declined and no new independent, reliable sources that have significant coverage of the subject were added, it's an instant decline. Ignoring reviewers comments is just wasting everyones time.
Copy and pasting. [[Violation of WP:COPYRIGHT) I have Earwig's Copyvio Detector installed which appears as an extra menu item on my sidebar. With a simple click it can quickly search the internet for copyright violations. Submissions with copyright violations will not only be instantly declined, but will also be nominated for deletion. Persistent copyright violators face having their account blocked.
Is an attack page. (Violation of WP:BLPSTYLE). These don't even get declined. They are immediately blanked and nominated for deletion.
The subject already exists in Wikipedia.
As a note, if I previously declined your submission and you ask me to review it again, I will likely not review it again. If I were to review it and approve it, it would appear to be favouritism.
