Hi, I'm David Boettcher.

I am an engineer with a background in nuclear power station construction and safety, ergonomics (man-machine interface and human performance), information technology and retail.

I am interested in history and technology, and the history of technology including steam engines, photography, old watches and hallmarking. I have had a few articles published in the NAWCC Bulletin, and in the Horological Journal published by the British Horological Institute.

In January 2019 I was made a Fellow of the British Horological Institute.
