I am contesting the delete by 'Legacypac' re. Anthony William Perera (A.W.P.) Samarasinghe
My article is an article. It is not selling some product or anything else. The person is dead. There are books, videos, articles, etc. about him. Some of it i have to upload once my article is good enough to be accepted. Last person that went through my segment, he/she told me to add 'Citations'. I added citations where ever that person told me to add citations. That was the only thing wrong they felt. Now you are saying ...once i added citations everywhere they said.....that i am trying to sell something. I tried to improve some parts so that it looks more like an article. This process is very hard. I would rather hire someone to do it, but will plough through. I hope it is not deleted....if there are other things wrong, for me to improve. AS i said...i need to upload some newspaper articles and other things (proof).
Hi. Sorry to have upset you. Creating new articles on wikipedia is tough. I've made about 50 in 100,000 edits across 10 years. Mostly I work to delete policy failing content and send policy compliant drafts to maknspace.. I always advise new users to start with expanding existing topics to get a feel for what is acceptable or not.
Are you related to AWP? What kind of material do you plan to upload exactly? We need WP:42 type sources to show WP:N. Legacypac (talk) 19:45, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
