Dattaprasad Jog a Goan Poet born on 18/05/1982, Village Sonal of Sattari Tehsil of North Goa. Father Dattatray Jog was well known Kirtankar and Jyotishi in Sattari Taluka. Mother Nandini Jog was house wife and was knowing Traditional Marathi Poetry from Mahadamba , Mahanubhav Panth. All four children were born and brought up in Poetic atmosphere with suffucient idea about Tal Lay and shabd. Father Dattatray Jog being Kirtankar and fond of Puranas and Vedic knowledge, Chanakya Neeti, Dattaprasad was moulded with in same atmosphere
