The Sarnowski (symbol CPS) is a nonstandard unit of length created as a replacement unit to meters after people who flew kites refused to standardise size. It is named after Christopher P. Sarnowski, chairperson of UK kiting association 2004-2006.
One Sarnowski is equal to 1.75768 meters (69.2 inch or 5feet 9), the average height of a fully grown man.
Since its introduction the measurement has been phased in by many popular kiting brands including Pansh and Argos as additional units used to measure the area of kites.
