Darth Fury
[edit]Darth Fury is a fan-made character from the Star Wars universe, made by this anonymous fan. His real name is Zel Gonn. He is of the race Kel Dor (the same of Plo Koon's).
History
[edit]Early Life
[edit]Zel was born on the planet of Dorin in 627 ABY. The Dorin Jedi elders wanted to check the newborn child for midi-chlorians. They found a very high midi-chlorian count inside of Zel after he was born. The elders told his parents that since they owned a transport ship company, they should travel to a place called Coruscant and train with the Jedi in the New Jedi Temple. The parents disagreed at first but then changed their minds later since they knew it was their child's destiny. They entered the coordinates to Coruscant onto their fastest transport ship, and the father flew it with the mother copiloting. On their way to Coruscant, the parents had to fly through an asteroid field. They dodged the first few and then they crashed into one. The parents of Zel Gonn were killed on impact, but Zel survived this crash because he was in the back of the ship. The damaged ship floated and went where the galaxy took it. Zel was too young to understand what was going on. The ship later landed on Korriban, the planet of the Sith.
The ship landed in the forest portion of the planet. A Sith Master was conveniently training his apprentice how to control his force lightning. When the ship landed, the Sith Master, Darth Vargon, instantly sensed Zel's presence, and told his apprentice, Darth Xelgar, to follow him. Darth Vargon, otherwise known as Khon Vhalren, and Darth Xelgar, otherwise known as Batryl Zalner, found the ship and searched it. They found useful supplies and also found the child known as Zel Gonn. Batryl was the one to find him and would later be his master.
Becoming a Sith
[edit]The Sith do not believe in babying, so Zel was put to work right away. Darth Vargon postponed Darth Xelgar's training for a while and gave him orders to train Zel in the ways of the dark side of the force. Zel was still puerile and was very hard to teach. Even though Batryl was a Sith, he took things very slow and was very patient. Perhaps he had a lot to learn about the dark side as well. Zel was young, but he was a very quick learner. By the age of 5, Zel was able to lift objects with the force. The objects were very light, such as plants and tiny rocks, but it's a great start to a long journey.
Batryl trained Zel mainly on breathing and control. Batryl was also supposed to be a Jedi, but as a child his father was killed by a Sith and Batryl was captured and sent to Korriban. When they got to Korriban, he was immediately trained by Darth Vargon very harshly. Darth Vargon was impatient and forced things upon him. This is why Batryl treats Zel so kindly, because of his abuse from his master. Batryl cares for Zel as if Zel was his son. Zel doesn't remember what his parents look like, and when he thinks of his dad, he sees Batryl's face.
At the age of 15, Zel had finally controlled his force push and force grip. Now a Sith Lord, Batryl was very proud and wanted to show his master Zel's accomplishment at the Sith Temple. Darth Vargon sighed and watched Zel lift a boulder and hit a tree with it, but Zel was not good under pressure. He messed up and accidentally hit Darth Vargon. He gripped Zel and Force Choked him, until something very surprising happened. Zel attempted a force maelstrom and succeeded. His maelstrom knocked Darth Vargon back, and then Darth Vargon told Zel to finish him. Zel wanted to kill him, but instead ran into the forest. Darth Vargon called him a weakling as he ran away, and decided to take his anger out on Darth Xelgar since he trained this weakling. Darth Vargon casted a force lightning on Batryl, and called him a disgrace to the Sith. Batryl quickly pulled out his red double-side lightsaber and deflected some back to Darth Vargon. Darth Vargon pulled out his black lightsaber and dueled with Batryl. Batryl was too weak and fell backwards from his lightsaber slash. Another round of lightning struck Batryl, and before Darth Vargon decapitated his former apprentice, he said something. He said, "I will train the boy to become the greatest Sith of all time, and the galaxy will fall into my hands after I kill him." Batryl was killed in combat. The sky turned grey.
When Zel was resting on a tree stump, he felt a vibration in his body. He knew something was wrong. He ran back to the Sith Temple and found Batryl's body laying there. Darth Vargon was away from the temple fighting off a Jedi attack. It was unexpected but well-timed. Zel now felt vibrations from dying Jedi, and he followed his senses. Darth Vargon was struck by a Jedi force push before Zel arrived. There were 3 of them, 2 dead, 1 alive. The alive one was about to capture Darth Vargon. He shot Darth Vargon with a Stun Blaster and put chains on his hands, until a force push knocked him to the ground. It was Zel's. Zel ran to the Jedi and stabbed him with a red lightsaber. The lightsaber was double-sided. It was Batryl's. Zel then sliced the chains of Darth Vargon and gave him an antidote kit. The third Jedi was dead, and Zel redeemed himself. Darth Vargon told Zel that the Jedi killed Darth Xelgar and that he would be Zel's new master.
A Turn of Events
[edit]Khon was a much harsher master than Batryl. He skipped the breathing exercises and focused directly on Zel's impressive force maelstrom. Khon had Zel do at least 15 maelstroms a day, and none of them were as powerful as the one he used on Khon. Zel finally did a perfect maelstrom when he was 18, but there was one problem. This maelstrom was so powerful it exploded, because it was too powerful to control. It knocked Zel into a boulder and put him into a coma. Khon wanted to kill Zel, but after Zel is the strongest Sith in the galaxy. He immediately put Zel on life support.
8 days later, another Jedi ambush appeared. This time they were victorious. All of the Sith were captured, including Khon and Zel. They mistakenly took Zel off of his life support. Zel would die within the hour if he didn't awake from his coma. Luckily their base was at one of the seven moons of Korriban. Something happened that the Jedi didn't expect when their prisoners arrived at the Jedi moon base. Zel awoke from his coma, sensing their presences. He broke free from his cell and knocked out the Jedi clone guards with his favorite move, force maelstrom. Zel didn't have his lightsaber with him. It was hidden in the Sith Academy until he was recovered. He couldn't fight the Jedi alone with just force powers, so he had to use his stealth to free the others.
A few of the Sith were being interrogated in the next room. Zel had to strategize, a lesson he has not yet learned. Zel peaked in and saw two Jedi. The Jedi could sense him, but mistook him for the Sith in front of them in their restrained metal tables. Zel thought about his move to make, and he saw that the Jedi each had blue lightsabers. Zel force pulled a lightsaber for each hand and sliced the Sith out of their restraints. He threw a lightsaber to each Sith and put the Jedi into a force stasis, while each Sith sliced a Jedi in half. The three Sith now ran towards Darth Vargon's cell. They saw the Sith trapped in a restrained metal table that was ten times as strong with three Jedi and four clones guarding him. Lightsabers wouldn't slice him through quick enough. Zel though for a while and had a great idea. He had heard of the mind trick force power, and asked the other Sith of they knew it. One of them did, and knew it well enough to control all four clones. The clones startled the Jedi and thought that all of their clones had gone rogue. While the Jedi force pushed the clones, they were defenseless enough for the Sith to drop control of the clones, and let them die, and for Zel to use force stasis and for the other two to use force lightning. Zel took the dead Jedis' lightsabers and helped the other Sith free Darth Vargon.
Darth Vargon asked Zel, "How are you alive, and who freed you?"
Zel answered, "I freed myself, these Sith, and you. Do you know a way out of here?"
Darth Vargon was impressed. He knew a way out, but it involved taking out the rest of the Jedi, which were luckily only two. But these two were the greatest Jedi in The Outer Rim. Too bad they were taken out as easily as womp rats. All it took was two Siths' force lightning, and another two Siths' lightsaber slashes. These two slashes were from Zel and his master, of course with stolen lightsabers.
After hearing of Zel's rescue stories, Khon decided that this was the perfect time to grant him the title of a Sith Lord, the equivalent of himself. Zel's story was heard to Sith all along The Outer Rim, and Zel would soon learn more powerful force techniques. Khon decided it was time for a Sith name.
"You will be under heavy training soon. You will need a name. A Sith name. What name would you like?"
Zel thought a while. He thought of his father. He thought of his master. He thought of his rage and fury toward the Jedi. "Fury."
"Interesting name, but it's a suiting name. You will be granted the name of Darth Fury."
The Steps to the Great Battle
[edit]Zel, now 26, has learned many new force powers and has killed many Jedi. There was one Jedi that Darth Vargon wanted Zel to kill before his final fight. This Jedi was known as the strongest in the galaxy. His name was Godrin Moonshadow. A quite ironic battle this will be since this was the Jedi that was supposed to be Zel's master in Coruscant.
Darth Vargon wanted to be a backup for his mission in case Darth Fury fails. They travelled in a fast and powerful starfighter. When they arrived at Coruscant, Zel stepped out. The first person he saw asked for a landing fee. Zel grabbed an object from his robe, but it wasn't credits. It was a red double-sided lightsaber. The man and everyone around him ran. A Jedi appeared. 'The' Jedi appeared. He pulled put his lightsaber and the fight begun.
A force push was the first move. It was by the Jedi. Zel barely dodged it. Godrin now threw his lightsaber at Zel. A big mistake to end the fight early. Zel caught the lightsaber and threw it to Khon. Khon readied his attack on Zel. All that needed to be done was the destruction of the Jedi. Another force push headed towards Zel. It hit him this time. He dropped his lightsaber. Godrin grabbed the lightsaber and pointed it towards a downed Zel. "I don't have to kill you. Just stand down and leave," said Godrin Moonshadow.
"But I have to kill you," said Zel Gonn as he used a maelstrom to knock the Jedi down. Zel used a force drain to gain more energy. He force gripped a box of explosive gun powder from the outside of a merchants shop and threw it on top of the downed Jedi. He finished the fight by throwing lightning at the explosives while he walked away. The fight was now over. Too bad his Jedi master couldn't save him.
The next fight didn't happen until the next destination. The 'final' destination. Khon decided to change the route from Korriban to Mustafar, the perfect place for a fight. When they landed, Zel asked, "Where are we?" Darth Vargon destroyed the ship, crushed it with the force, and threw it at Darth Fury. Zel dropped his lightsaber and was dying under the rubble. "You...You used me," realized Zel, "But why?"
"You have too much light side in your blood. That is why I killed my precious student, Darth Xelgar. He also had the light sider's blood."
"You'll pay for this."
"No...I'm afraid you will."
"No, I think you will." A maelstrom. The most powerful maelstrom ever accomplished by any Jedi or Sith blew the rubble into the lava along with Darth Vargon. Vargon landed onto the rubble, and threw pieces of magma with the force. Zel caught it while it was being thrown. A duel of the force was happening. The magma was getting closer and closer to Zel, but he found the power within himself. The rage. The fury. He forced it back to his master. A hole was in Khon's stomach. Before he fell into the lava, he said something. He said, "I guess you do have dark sider's blood." Khon burned alive, until nothing was left of him.
Darth Fury yelled out, "Yes, I do." He walked away and made a new home with the supplies that were still only burnt. No one knows how long he lived. Some say he went insane the next day. Others say he built his own ship and escaped to an unknown planet. But the most popular rumor says that Zel Gonn's rage and fury now make up the fires of Mustafar, strengthening it with a fire maelstrom that will last for eternity. Zel Gonn is Darth Fury, The Sith Lord of Rage.
