In the context of Wikipedia, I am interested currently in the history of the Caribbean and African-origin communities in the United Kingdom from the 1950s onwards, particularly their artistic, literary and publishing activities and political movements within those communities.
I was born in North Shields in the North East of England in 1954 and have also lived in the West of Scotland and Manchester. I have lived in South London since 1992.
