Nyamutin Farm Cookbook was published in 1971 by the Muscular Dystrophy Research Association of Western Australia[1]. With content complied by ladies from local farms, including recipes and farming anecdotes, it was generally considered to be the work of the Shaddick family, who owned the historic Nyamutin Farm in the Cuballing Shire of Western Australia's Great Southern Wheatbelt farming region.
The cookbook (ISBN 0959600817, 107 pages) has had a resurgence of interest[2], although it is now out of print. It can be found in the main reading room of the National Library of Australia.
Nyamutin Farm is still a working farm, now owned by the McBurney family, and was the subject site of the Wildflower Society of Western Australia (Inc.)'s "Bushland Plant Survey Project" in 1999[3][4].
