Hi
Article evaluations
Jimmy Wales:
- Everything that I read in the article is relevant to the topic. Nothing really distracted me.
- This article is neutral until it starts talking about his political and economic views because then it states his point of view, which is different than somebody else.
- No viewpoints are over-presented or under-presented. I felt like every section was equal.
- I clicked on a couple of links and they worked and sources support claim.
- Each fact is referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference. No bias on certain cites.
- No outdated info overall, depends how old "outdated" means because there were some links from 2008 and a couple years before that as well. I am sure some new stuff can be added.
- He is the co-founder of wikipedia so I am pretty sure all of his information should be correct because it only makes sense.
Annotated Bibliography
- Everything that I read in the article is relevant to the topic. Nothing distracted me.
- This is a neutral article because it is talked about what an annotated bibliography is and different types. Although I felt like he chose certain ways of doing an annotated bibliography.
- No viewpoints are over-presented or under-presented.
- Links do not work but sources support claim.
- Each fact was not referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference.
- Outdated info and new information can be added.
- It looked like a student made this article because it doesn't look very professional.
I have selected the topic of Sex Trafficking. I plan on either adding more recent statistics to the topic as a wholes (books, videos, documentaries, websites, etc.), or maybe narrow it down to a specific country/region where sex trafficking takes place and talk more about that. When I go on the wikipage, I see that for certain regions, there is a lot more to talk about in the country Iran than any other one. So maybe I can add more about the other countries as well. Here is the link to the Sex Trafficking page:
