Early Life and Career

Daniel Stewart is an Aberdonian who was born Daniel Forbes Stewart to Linda Stewart and Roy Forbes who never married and later split when he was 3 years old. His mother changed his name to just Stewart in late 1995 before he started primary school. In August 1996 he attended Portlethen Primary School, in Aberdeen, Scotland. Later in 2003 he attended Portlethen Academy, Aberdeen. Until 2008 when he left as he did not know what he wanted to do for a career, which would later prove to be a turbulant time for Stewart in 2009. His mother Linda was involved in various relationships throughout Daniel's childhood. One of which was violent and abusive towards Daniel and his mother. Leaving Linda left with no money as her partner had taken a large sum of money from her and damaged her home. Also while trying to escape him in Linda's car, he raced them to Stewart's grandmothers house trying to stop them by driving infront of his mothers car. His grandparents had their own bus company of which they operated and had contacts for the local schools and hired their coaches for weddings etc; this was Stewart's dream to work for his grandparents and eventually gain control of the company and help it grow to an international company. In June 2006 his grandfather lost contracts to the schools and eventually forced to retire after 35 years service. Much to Stewart's horror his world was collapsing as he watched his life be sold off and taken away from him. In June 2008 at the age of 16, Daniel started working at Thomas Cook Holiday's of which he lasted 2 days when he told them he wouldn't be coming back. In November 2008, he later got various jobs in ASDA and Nortruck Services Ltd, of which he was paid off after moving the business stock to new premises. This was a painful time for Stewart as his good friend was killed not long after Daniel was paid off. It was a genuine human error on the part of Daniel's friend. After being paid off, he was 6 months with no work and he was left to sign on to Jobseekers Allowance three times between jobs. During this time, he had spent all of his savings to live, and having no luck finding work, he has said "Now i look back on it, i feel as if i was having some sort of breakdown, i would snap and be very emotional at the slightest thing anyone did or said, and it was the pressure of having no job, no money and everyone getting at me to find job" [This was during the recession of 2007-2009]. Eventually he started work labouring for a local garden shed company of which he left due to poor wage and worked for Premier Inn for 18 days. In February 2010 he finally got a full-time job at Central Taxi's and Coaches of which he has much experience in the bus and coach industry.

Music Career In February 2007 he recorded a single as part of a group to "The Tide Is High" by Blondie as part of a school fundraiser for Live Aid. This was helped by his friends mixing the single and editing and also providing backing vocals. This boosted Daniel's credibility as he was already known for appearing in school annual pantomimes. He was asked to sing live in his last pantomime appearance but he refused to do so. Due to requests from schoolmates and friends, in mid 2008 he started to record his first solo album in a friends garage. He had already had the album cover designed, album title decided and had a series of songs covered and some written by friends, although nothing was ever mass produced and only 5 were made and indiviually distributed to select people. Nothing ever materialised from this and the plans were ditched. Danny left that side of his career to focus on his working and his personal life. In December 2008, he provided the backing vocals for a friends music CD, which he also sang 1 song as a duet for christmas. This prompted him to start thinking about making a comeback. It was in August 2010, that Daniel wished to be refered to as Denis Harry(Denee) as his professional name, this was as a tribute to Debbie Harry/Blondie song of the same name. In March 2010, he was asked if he would consider to pick up where he left off on the ill-fated 1st album. The second album will hint at a Debbie Harry/Blondie tribute, and the title of the first single off the album will be a cover of Debbie Harry's "Brite Side". A release date was not been set. As of July 2010, the cover art for his 2nd album featured Daniel with scewers through his head and neck, again a big tribute to Debbie Harry's 1st solo album. It was also revealed that the album cover had been banned by his local public schools, shops, shopping centres etc; deemed as being to graphic. He had also said that the new album will feature mostly cover songs of Blondie and Debbie Harry, but wil feature some other songs written by friends and Daniel himself. The album is currently in the recording stage, and no tour dates or album release date has been confirmed. Upon the release of this album in November 2010, it was poorly recieved and the lead single "Brite Side" did not chart and was not picked up by any major label, despite a posting of the video on YouTube having near 100,000 views.

In December 2010, Daniel announced he would be taking a break from music to focus on other ventures. And would not be writing or recording any new material until further notice.

In late March 2011, Daniel had a cameo role in the music video for the music video for Emile Sande (uncredited). In the same month he landed his first major acting role. He was the lead character in short sci-fi horror re-make of "Videodrome". He was cast as a male version of Deborah Harry's character "Nicki Brand" the radio presenter who is also into sadist sexual activites and is incharge of the cult Videodrome. He completed filming in June 2011 having worked tirelessly to finish the project to co-inside with what would be his comeback tour. It was announced in October 2011 that he has been asked to play the role of an "Alexis Carrington" character in the Scottish rival for 80's soap opera "Dynasty". No title for the project has been leaked and no release date or filming date. October 2011, Daniel announced he will be writing new material and also performing in clubs etc; round Scotland once again to regain interest in his career. He also said that the tour will be called the "Revenge Tour" as recent events in his life had inspired him to write again and to perform and a new album will follow, after a one year break from the music industry, his Twitter page had postings from fans asking for details on the album etc; In January 2012 he announced details of the tour and album. Two songs were leaked on YouTube : "Broken" and "Remember Me". The album title is "Last Laugh" and it will consist of 10/11 songs, 3 of which are covers. No music video's have been released for the songs. He will play 23 club dates around Britain and as of January 2012, Aberdeen and Dundee have sold out within half an hour of tickets going on sale. He stated in an interview for "Press and Journal" that he would like to work with Lana Del Rey for his new album. He has been quoted as saying "She is amazing, i love her. Her music is so personal and you can relate to her emotions when listening to it. I love her style and the grace she has on screen. She is the 21st century incarnation of the Lauren Bacall, Bette Davis, Marlene Dietrich. The Golden Era stars". Del Rey has not responded to his invite as yet.

Personal Life Daniel became a big brother for the first time on January 3rd 2009, his father and his new wife had a baby girl, Anna Murison Forbes, and are expecting their second child in September 2010, although it has been revealed it will be a boy. Much to Stewart's delight. On 22nd September 2010, he became a brother for a second time, to Alfie, born 4 days after he was expected. He had been a step brother to his mothers current fiancee, of which she has been with for 7 years. He has a step brother and step sister. He has 4 cousins aged from 4 to 16. This was until problems occured involving police and courts in 2011 and the children were told to go to live with their biological mother in Fraserburgh, Aberdeen. To which Daniel suffered from ill health. He was believed to be bi-polar/depressed. He was admitted to the Well-Being Centre in Lawrencekirk Aberdeen to where he fully recovered. His grandfather's sister is mother to Paul Lawrie, the golfer that won the 1999 world cup open. At the age of 13 he met Natalie Bradford, of which he started to "date" but they lost touch over the years. During his performance in his school's December 2007 pantomime he met Natalie again and they started a relationship once again, Natalie was 14 and Daniel was 16. Daniel has stated that, "Natalie was the one, i had met her years before and we instantly hit it off, we laughed at the same things and really bounced off each other with ideas and things to talk about, we were really smitten with each other but when i decided to leave school, we realised it wouldn't be ideal to carry on our relationship as i'd have to get a job and she would be busy with exams. I don't think you ever quite get over someone that had such an impact on your life like that, you always have certain feelings for that person". They split up in March 2008 and have not seen each other since but have spoken via the internet very candidly since. He has also said that he has had unsuccessful relationships, he has never spoken publicly of how they ended. In 2011, Daniel came out as bisexual, he had a relationship with one man which was violent and drink fuelled. This ended badly in Septemeber 2011, one month before being with his parter one year. He later dated another man, which again ended badly. His partner left him on New Year 2012 and days later began dating Daniel's best friend. He is currently not in a relationship.

He has also stated many times, he would love to be on Top Gear and do a lap in the Reasonably Priced Car, also jokingly said Jeremy Clarkson has his job. He has considered moving to the States, which has been a dream of Daniel's for many years. He revealed in 2011 that he has had cosmetic surgery and is very pro-cosmetic surgery.
