I rarely know what to include on pages such as these.

Been a gamer since as far back as a I can remember, as such I generally hang around related pages/articles, though I sometimes branch out into other interests like Doctor Who & Discworld. Been frequenting Wikipedia for years now, though I rarely take part in discussions or make edits because I don't like getting involved. This is typically because I feel certain policies are asinine or outdated but don't want to stir up too much trouble. I will, however, make my presence known when I feel it is necessary, or lose myself to the horrible desire to take part in something I feel strongly about.

I say I'm a longtime gamer, and that's totally true, but these days I generally prefer to stick to older games such as the SNES and PSX era (commonly known as the 90's, an awful year for music and movies, but excellent insofar as video games were concerned). Truth be told though, I do find a fair amount of enjoyment on the PS2 and NDS, though not as much as the previous group. If I had to choose my favourite genres, it'd definitely fall to Role Playing Games (Final Fantasy, Mother, Dragon Quest) and Action/Adventure (Zelda, Castlevania, Mega Man) with good ol' Point-And-Click (Myst, King's Quest, SBCG4AP) taking up third. However, that doesn't mean I'm unfamiliar with other genres and branch out from time to time for the odd Shooter (DOOM, Star Fox, Metal Slug) with varying degrees of success.

Some other areas of keen interest include the aforementioned Doctor Who and Discworld series which I've been following avidly since I was a child. My mother got me into Doctor Who, though I dare say I've become more of a fan than she is, and I own most of the episodes available on VHS format. Buying them back on DVD has been a non-issue because I really don't have that kind of money and would rather buy unowned episodes or the new series DVDs... which are sadly far overpriced and outside the affordability of the average Who fan; a problem most of the Doctor Who merchandise has, I've noticed. As for Discworld, I discovered the series quite by accident one day with a copy of Eric and Wyrd Sisters at a local bookstore and fell in love with the humour and the world itself and now own every book in the series. Another series near and dear to my heart is Godzilla, who has been a part of my life probably as long if not longer than video games, if that's even possible. A few years ago, I finally achieved a small personal goal of mine when my aunt gave me an official Godzilla Plush for my birthday.

A few other bits of information about me: I love cats and have grown up around them my entire life. I currently own three cats including an orange tabby (age 12), a grey tabby (age 2), and possible calico/tabby mix (age 10). I have Tourette Syndrome and Diabetes Type II, which among a couple of other health issues makes my life oh so fun. I am a firm believer in both the paranormal (spirits, mediums, etc) and the extraterrestrial; I also am open to possible existence of UMAs (Unidentified Mysterious Animals). While I was raised in a Christian household, I am not very religious; though I am open to the existence of multiple gods and goddesses I do not place my faith or salvation in anyone's hands.

I think that is enough about me. I can be terribly long-winded and have a tendency to ramble on too long or get caught in circular logic/discussion without intending to. As this entire page no doubt confirms, I am also very, very good at changing the subject without being aware of it... it's terrible, yet efficient in its roaming.
