Description
[edit]The ship is rumored to only appear in autumn, and is rumored to only appear between Torrington and Alcova, Wyoming. Descriptions of the ship usually include sails, masts, and crew completely covered in frost while standing around the corpse of a friend or loved one.
Sightings
[edit]1862
[edit]The first sighting was made in 1862 by a fur trapper named Leon Webber. Initially, a large amount of fog appeared over the river in which a ship emerged with sails and masts completely covered in frost. Aboard the ship were several sailors who also appeared to be covered in frost standing around a corpse that appeared to be the Fiance of the trapper. After a return home in the next month, the trapper had discovered that his fiance had died on the day in which he had witnessed the ship.
