The National Economics Association (NEA) is an organization of American economists dedicated to raising awareness and promoting research on economic issues of particular relevance to the lives of African Americans, Latinos, and other people of color and to promote the careers of underrepresented minorities in the economics profession.[1] The NEA sponsors the The Review of Black Political Economy and the Minority Report: The Annual News[1] of the Committee on the Status of Minority Groups in the Economics Profession, the National Economic Association, and the American Society of Hispanic Economists[2].
