Dj Kareka Biography DJ Kareka (Born Godwin Careca) is a prolific entertainer and consummate performer with a knack for intricately gelling oldies and contemporaries into breathtaking tunes. Brought up both in the countryside and largely in the city of Nairobi, he has an in-depth understanding and grasp of both the local and international music scene. Currently, DJ Kareka serves as the resident DJ at Carwash-Umoja besides being a Sound Manager at Mabingwa Theatre and Film Production. Over the years, Kareka has amassed immense skills, thanks to his online and stage performances. Some of the notable night clubs in which he has been invited to perform include Waves Lounge Ruiru, Waiyaki Way Lounge, Club Oasis Machakos, Club Central Kiambu, Club Giggles formerly in Nairobi CBD, Enkare Bar and Restaurant, Tripple K Lounge, Castle Garden, Platinum Lounge, Club 105 Lounge just to mention but a few.
