From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In physics, the Farrell field is a field which has been observed to radiate from the ego of certain persons. The farrell (symbol: Fu) is the SI unit of Farrell field strength. (A note on the symbol: abbreviations for SI units named after people are required to begin with a capital letter. In this case, F was already used, so another letter was added.)

Right-hand rule

Right-hand rule for Farrell field interactions

The Farrell field is known to observe the right-hand rule for interactions with other matter. If you orient your hand so that the thumb is pointing in the direction of the field, the third finger will tell you where you can get off.

Elementary particle

[edit]

The Farrell field, it is postulated, is caused by the elementary particle known as a farron (symbol φ). This particle has no charm, infinite strangeness, and can put spin on any other particle, placing it well outside the current standard model of particle physics. These properties would make it a close relative of the theorized Higgs boson.

Farrell shielding

[edit]

Farrons are known to distribute themselves evenly over the surface of a good conductor, such as tin foil. The net Farrell field strength in the interior of a conductor is therefore zero. This fact is used by some in order to shield areas in which the field's effects are undesirable.
