I would like to introduce myself as Didier Marcelin. I am born and raised in Queens Village, New York. I am a senior of SUNY Delhi College of Technology. I am fluent in English, French, and Creole.. In the near future I plan on owning an upscale restaurant. I have interests in wine, food culture and different aspects of business.

For the summer of 2009 i am taking a course on Organizational Communication I. this course will cover: Define the general terms related to the academic study of organizational communication. Explain what organizations are and how communication functions within them. Explain how individual personality traits and human temperament effect organizational communication and cohesion.Examine how supervisors and subordinates communicate with each other effectively. Explain how both employee and employer perceptions of each other can impact an organization. Discuss how power and status influence the normal functioning of organizations and organizational communication. Explain why organizations are resistant to change, and the impact of conflict within the organization. Examine how organizations create unique organizational cultures, and how these cultures impact organizational communication.
