Orchestrator is a Transport Management Solution designed and developed by P1 Technology Partners. Primarily servicing the UK it offers an end to end solution for the Haulage and transport industry which uses the following technologies:
GPS Tracking, Telematics, CANbus, GSM transfer, Custom mapping
Overview
[edit]The main objectives of Orchestrator is to provide control over fleet location, route & job efficiency and fuel and cost efficiency.
History
[edit]The Orchestrator transport Management Solution was first conceived in 2006 after extensive market research into the benefits and impacts of tracking and telemetry in the UK haulage and trasport industry.
Use
[edit]Orchestrator is used by haulage and fleet vehicle companies to stream line the collection and delivery process.
Software
[edit]The software has been custom design and developed using the Microsoft .Net framework.
Hardware
[edit]A scout transceiver is fitted to the vehicle which connects to the Engine Control Unit(ECU). The device is uses GPS(Global Positioning System) technology for location tracking and GSM(Global System for Mobile Communications) for data transfer. All devices include an external communication antenna.
