Biography
Mark P. Cotter (born Octover 27, 1957) is a new American author. He was born in Long Beach, California, to parents Donald and Patricia, and was the youngest child and the only boy growing up with three older sisters. He began reading at a very early age and demonstrated exceptional English skills as early as the second grade. He bagan writing earnestly while attending Terra Nova High School in Pacifica, California from 1971-1975.
He is single, never married, and currently resides in Carson City, Nevada. <gallery>
Career
A novelist and short fiction writer, Cotter's first novel, The High Ground: A Novel of Terror in San Francisco, combines a technically detailed narrative and techno thriller storyline set in post-911 San Francisco. Background stories of the main characters, often remembered in flashbacks, flesh out the divergent motivations for acts of domnestic terrorism. Cotter holds three copyrights: one for The High Ground" and two others for the novellas Green Holocaust and The Wilderness. The latter story, originally written in 2000,was rewritten and submitted for publication in 2011.
