Jasmine Jones is an American singer/songwriter, producer, and composer. Jones was born in Lumberton, N.C. and grew up in Buffalo, NY. After high school, Jasmine began to experiment in numerous recording studios. She started demoing and wrote/produced over 25 songs, working with various producers as well as Ryan Leslie's NextSelection production team. Jasmine released the full-length album "Battery Proper" along with Nickel City Records in 2004. Jasmine secured her own nationwide distribution through Sony Red Distribution in 2005. The album reached thousands of fans worldwide through the internet, and various mixtapes, podcasts, and blogs. Her music was featured on MTV University's "In the Wash" Compilation, E! Network, and most recently on Oxygen Network's Running Russell Simmons. Jasmine relocated to New York City, and began songwriting for other artists. She works with Pop, Hip Hop, Rock, JPop, and R&B artists and producers as a writer and and vocal producer. Jasmine continued to write for herself and in 2009 released INFP the EP through her own production/licensing company Culture FX Music Group
