I have a PhD in Psychology, but have been in the IT industry for over 25 years in PR and corporate marketing functions. I have worked in server, storage and software companies. As a result, I have lived through some major technology disruptions, gained a wide perspective across the industry, and have great interest in the history of and the players in the high-tech industry. For the last three years I have worked mainly as a contract writer for a number of companies in high tech and solar energy industries. My interests range from history to economics, but my passion is for great writing. I often send notes to webmasters and PR people pointing out and correcting various editorial blunders. One of my favorite newsletters is from Editorial Emergency which catalogs many such blunders, some amusing, some just plain sad.
