Step 10:Tie off the ends with a rubber band.
{NOW LETS DECORATE IF YOU HAVE DONE THE STAR} Step 1:Use a plastic table cloth or tissue paper to cover the parol but leave the sides uncovered. Step 2:Make the tail of your parol DIY-style by folding a large piece of tissue paper to make a triangle shape. Step 3:Continue folding until you form a small triangle. Step 4: Fold the top point of the triangle across to the opposite side. Step 5:Cut slits along the open side of your triangle. Step 6:Carefully open the triangle. Step 7:Take a separate piece of cardboard and cut out a small circle. Step 8:Make a slit in the middle of the circle and tie a piece of wire or string through it. Step 9: Place the circle inside the parol tail at the top point of the tissue paper fold. The wire should go through the top so that the tissue paper hangs down like a skirt. Step 10:Wrap the wire around the bottom of the star so that the tail hangs from the bottom point of the star. Step 11:Repeat these steps to make another parol tail to hang from the second bottom point of the star.
