Early life and family
[edit]Romy Mars was born to Sofia Coppola and Thomas Mars and was raised in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan. She was kept out of the public eye until she was a teenager.[1] She appeared in a Marc Jacobs campaign in tk.[1] In a now-deleted TikTok from March 2023, she documented her attempt to charter a helicopter using her dad’s credit card.[2]
On May 16, 2024, Mars made her red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Megalopolis, a film by her grandfather Francis Ford Coppola.[1] She was joined by family members including great aunt Talia Shire and uncle Roman Coppola.
