How Wikipedia is Hostile to Women

Wikipedia seems to allow the inequality of women editors/writers. Females have been targeted through their content. Wikipedia started a campaign named "Inspire", this was initiated to close the gender gap .

Conflict of Interest

  • You must provide information if you are paid to write on Wikipedia.
  • Do not edit your own interests or interests of the others you may relate yourself with.
  • Editors must know that when they contribute to Wikipedia can be copied and used by other third parties
  • no undisclosed advertisements

Article Evaluation

  • Article Not Lengthy , seems to base itself primarily on four different sections, Etymology, Rationale, Abstinence in Religion, Comparison to other diets
  • Broken link to "pescatarian society"
  • Rated Start-class and has not yet received an importance scale rating
  • WikiProject Food and Drink
  • Ethics, some editors may be biased regarding the way pescatarians eat.
  • Editors on the talk page may view pescatarian as vegetarian and some are biased.
  • A lot of terminology which is not referenced very well
  • Notability brought up in talks page regarding bringing up a group of people from certain places

  • Everything seems relevant to the article
  • Article is very long and goes all the way to Notable Alumni
  • Known as a former featured article candidate.
  • Part of Wiki Projects : California Bay Area, California State University, Universities
  • The photo of the Spartan Field distracted me, did not get enough information regarding photo.
  • In talks , the Accent mark was changed and caused a controversy. May seem like its a topic that creates bias
  • multicultural campus, but not focused as a topic in article other than percentage of students in university.
  • Old name and campus history seem to be overrepresented.
  • Found broken links
  • A lot of changes done to page, and many biased opinions.

Project Cuddle

The Believe Campaign was created by Project Cuddle, It was created to spread awareness to American teens about the "Safe Haven" laws. Project Haven along with celebrities John Stamos, and Denise Richards have helped to create an educational video that is available to distribute for free to Health clinics and schools.[1]
