[edit]"Psychopathy Red" was written solely by Jeff Hanneman, who was ultimately inspired to write it by the Russian serial killer Andrei Romanovich Chikatilo, also known as the Rostov Ripper. He is a Ukrainian-born Soviet serial killer who "brutally" murdered a minimum of 52 women and children between 1978 and 1990.
"Psychopathy Red" had leaked onto the Internet well before November 2008 and has been streamed more than a half-million times since; it was released as a limited edition, blood-red vinyl seven-inch in April for Record Store Day.
