I am currently in the process of completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario. I am completing a double major in Psychology and Media, Information and Technoculture. I believe to find this a fascinating mix since much of the topics discusses are relatable to the other field. Personally, I decided to add a major in Psychology because not only is it interesting, but I find much that I learn applicable to everyday life.
In this particular course I am currently enrolled in, Cognitive Science, one of our assignments is to create and/or update a wikipedia page on one of a variety of psychology topics. I have chosen to do my assignment on Endel Tulving. This will include a brief biography and a summary of his work, including his most reputable piece on episodic memory.
I chose a specific person as opposed to a concept because it allows me to go further in depth of how each of Tulving's findings would have influenced the next. It allows me to format a wikipedia page that is encompassing of an important psychologist that has made an important difference in the field.
Of course, his fashionable bow ties are quite intriguing too, makes me think he may be quite the enjoyable character.
