CosmicDuctTape. It's an interesting moniker, I'll admit, and one I'm slowly coming to use more and more online. I'm not entirely sure what it means, but I guess that leaves me to define it. I got the name from a roll of duct tape with a special spacey design, but it's how I use it now that gives it its meaning, as least as it refers to me. Is Cosmic Duct Tape some sort of grand magical artifact that superheroes would fight over, or is it more of a metaphorical name, referring to a desire to hold on securely to what's out there in the universe? Both. The answer is both.
Coming a bit closer to reality, I'm an aspiring librarian, or something of the sort, starting their MLIS at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. My interests tend toward geeky pop culture: movies, video games, books, TV shows, sci-fi, fantasy, board games, etc. Frankly, it's surprising that I got an account here before TV Tropes. We shall see exactly how I contribute and where, and it may just surprise myself as well.
