In the debate about what Wikipedia is, and its purpose, I am of the theory that Wikipedia is the sum total of all human knowledge rather than just another encyclopedia. I respect others' views on this, but I see great value in Wikipedia's contributions to individuals' knowledge and ability to access information.
I am a tech gadget addict. I own an iPhone, and frequently use Wikipedia to end arguments. I guess that's annoying, but there you go....
I'm an IT professional.
As a result of all of this background, I think digital convergence, proliferation of Internet connectivity and technology, et. al. make our society better, not worse.
NPOV: I try as hard as I can to write from a very encyclopedic NPOV (Neutral Point Of View). This makes Wikipedia a natural for me. I'm still learning, though.
Personal attacks have no place on Wikipedia. I've grown to detest "Wiki Stalking". I will try as hard as possible to avoid personal attacks, even if I disagree with edits and their editors.
