Brian J. Kelley served for 20 years as a United States Air Force Officer and later another 22 years as a counterintelligence officer for the CIA .[1] Kelley was wrongly accused by the FBI of selling classified documents to the Russians. He was accused August of 1999 and subsequently suspended by the FBI for 21 months pending an investigation. Mr. Kelley’s daughter, who also worked for the CIA, was denied a promotion, his two sons; two sisters and ex-wife were also interrogated regarding Mr. Kelley’s alleged involvement in spying. [2] The culprit Robert Hanssen, who was not CIA but FBI, was arrested in 2001. [3]
