User:Compositionist is Dylan B. Dryer, Associate Professor of Composition Studies at the University of Maine. He teaches and publishes on rhetorical genre studies, corpus linguistics, institutional ethnography, and language ideology. Continuing-education in research methods is the focus of much of his professional service. He is currently the coeditor of Written Communication, an international academic research quarterly.
