Nick Guggemos (born December 17, 1995) is an American football tight end who is a free agent. He played college football at St. Thomas.
Early life
[edit]Guggemos was born in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and attended Benilde-St. Margaret's High School, graduating in 2014.
College career

Guggemos played wide receiver at St. Thomas from 2014 to 2018 until the program was kicked out of the MIAC. He had 1 reception for 8 yards, and 1 rush for -4 yards.[1]
Professional career
[edit]Seattle Seahawks
[edit]On May 6, 2021, Guggemos was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent.[2] On June 7, he was released.
Washington Football Team
[edit]On July 29, 2021, the Washington Football Team signed Guggemos. On August 17, he was released.[3]
Cleveland Browns
[edit]On December 15, 2021, the Cleveland Browns signed Guggemos to their practice squad. Six days later, he was released. On January 4, he was signed to the practice squad.[4] On January 10, he was signed to a reserve/futures contract. On May 24, he was waived.
Green Bay Packers
[edit]On November 29, 2022, the Green Bay Packers signed Guggemos to their practice squad. On January 10, he was signed to a reserve/futures contract. On May 23, he was waived.
Buffalo Bills
[edit]On June 15, 2023, the Buffalo Bills signed Guggemos.[5] On July 25, he was waived.
Personal life
[edit]He is the son of Neal Guggemos, a former defensive back/kick returner for the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants. His younger brother, Matt, plays defensive back for the Minnesota Golden Gophers.[6]
