Colin Dardis is a poet, artist and songwriter from Northern Ireland. He was the founder of Speech Therapy, a poetry zine that ran for four issues, which focussed on poets from the North of Ireland. Dardis also founded Make Yourself Heard, an occasional open mike poetry night in Belfast.
Born in Omagh, Co. Tyrone, Dardis has been a regular performer of live poetry in Belfast, and has worked as a Poet In Motion for the New Belfast Community Arts Initiative, helping organise a number of poetry events in Belfast. Notable appearances include the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival, Between The Lines and the Castlereagh Verbal Arts Festival.
